Beginning Windows class:

Confused about when to click and when to double-click? Have you heard ugly rumors about right-clicking? Hate your computer? This class starts with an overview of how Windows manages your computer’s hardware. You will learn to install printers, change your display and tweak both your keyboard and mouse settings.

Learn what a desktop is and then create icons for it. Then discover how easy it is to install and remove software. Use Windows Explorer to figure out the difference between program files and data files. Copy and paste; cut and paste; delete and organize those data files and text snippets.

Windows II class:

Become friends with Windows Explorer. This class uses the file management skills you learned in the beginning class and improves upon them. You will FINALLY learn how to zip and unzip a file. Create backups and learn safe storage tips.

The second part of this class covers Computer Hygiene. Learn what utilities need to be run and how often to perform them in order to keep your computer running as efficiently and happily as possible.
